- Ador filed a lawsuit claiming the validity of its exclusive contract with NewJeans. The members issued a statement reiterating that Ador violated the contract.
- VCHA member KG announced that she left the group and is suing JYP Entertainment for allegations including child labor exploitation and abuse.
- In the aftermath of President Yoon Suk Yeol‘s short-lived declaration of martial law on Dec. 3, celebrities, idols as well as film associations came forward to condemn his actions and support impeachment.

- Oneus will drop the digital single “Rupert’s Drop” on December 9, ahead of their January 2025 album release.
- Fifty Fifty will release a holiday single, “When You Say My Name,” on the same day.
- ARTMS’ Haseul will also put out her 2nd solo single “Fragile Eyes” on December 9.
- Younite follows up their Road to Kingdom appearance with Y on December 11.
- Stray Kids shared a mashup video for Hop, out on December 13.
- Kard will return with “Detox” on December 16.
- Fromis_9 will release “From,” their final single with Pledis Entertainment, on December 23.
- Gfriend will reunite for a special anniversary album, Season of Memories, on January 13.
- Wei will come back with The Feelings on January 15.
- Kim Yohan will not participate in the comeback due to his drama filming schedule.
- BamBam announced that Got7 will return on January 20.
- (G)I-dle’s Minnie will make her solo debut in January.
