Welcome to another edition of SB Week in Review. Here’s all the news you might have missed over the past week:
Headlines
- After it was reported that brokers had helped Ravi evade enlistment by giving him a false medical diagnosis of epilepsy, his agency has released a statement indicating that Ravi will follow any investigation that the military may hold.
- Following the removal of Chuu, the remaining members of Loona filed lawsuits to break free from their contracts. Four of the members (Heejin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry) have won their lawsuits, while the rest except for Vivi and Hyunjin have lost. Vivi and Hyunjin did not participate in the injunctions. The difference in outcomes is due to the fact that the four members had the same contract as Chuu, which was previously ruled unfair. However, the remaining members who filed the suit had recently renegotiated their contracts, which were deemed fair.
